History

The European Mid-Amateur Ladies’ Championship is a relatively new tournament, first held in 2019, for female golfers aged 25 and over, organised by the EGA. It is played alongside the European Mid-Amateur Men’s Championship each June at various venues across Europe. The three-round stroke play event is open to players with a handicap of 6.0 or better.

Winners are invited to compete in the European Ladies’ Amateur and US Mid-Amateur Ladies’ Championships. A separate prize is awarded to the top player aged 40 and over.

Alexandra Farret from France is the reigning champion, becoming the fifth winner of the event.
