4 Venues Confirmed for 2023 EGA Championships

Four venues have been confirmed for the EGA’s 2023 championship season.

 

The 35th edition of the European Ladies' Amateur Championship will return to Sweden for the first time since 2015.

 

Tegelberga Golf Club, located 15 minutes from Trelleborg, will provide the test for the top women amateur players in the world in late July.

The 2023 European Men’s and Ladies’ Mid-Amateur Championships, which have been played in parallel since 2019, will be contested at Bogogno Golf Resort in Italy. The Italian club hosted the Vagliano Trophy in 2017 and regularly hosts European Tour Qualifying School events.

The 2023 European Amateur & Boys’ Team Championship, Division 2 will travel to Slovakia to be played at Green Resort Hrubá Borša. The club recently hosted the European Girls’ Team Championship in 2020 and will set the stage next year for the teams hoping to gain promotion to the Division 1 events. The course is located 30 minutes to the east of Bratislava.

Royal Golf Club Mariánské Lázně in the Czech Republic will host its first EGA event since 2006, when the St Andrews and Jacques Léglise Trophies were contested there. Rory McIlroy, Richie Ramsay and Oliver Fisher helped Great Britain & Ireland to victory in the St Andrews Trophy, while Victor Dubuisson featured for the victorious Continent of Europe Jacques Léglise side that year. The 2023 European Senior Men’s Team Championship will be hosted at the club.
