Föhrenwald Golf Club
Golfclub Föhrenwald is one of the 15 oldest golf courses in Austria. It is a traditional course that has stood the test of time thanks to a perfect redesign. The 18-hole course is constantly being improved and adapted to the requirements of modern golf.
History
The European Mid-Amateur Men’s Team Championship, for golfers aged 25 and over, debuted at Golf de Chiberta, France, in 2024. This event marks the EGA's continued efforts to enhance mid-amateur international competition, following the introduction of the European Mid-Amateur Ladies’ Championship in 2019 and the lowering of the age limit to 25 in 2021. Up to 24 teams of four players will compete over four days, with two rounds of stroke play followed by two rounds of match play, where the top four teams from stroke play will vie for medals.
