Golf Mladá Boleslav
Golf Mladá Boleslav with its Sand Martin´s Holes - an 18-hole Championship Course and a 9-hole Academy is open for golfers and general public seven days a week throughout the entire year.
The course spreads over 70 hectares of land with a plateau as a dominating feature offering a magnificent view of the gently undulating course with nine water reservoirs situated at the outskirts of Mladá Boleslav.
History
The tournament format mirrors the structure of its Division 1 counterpart, with teams from various European countries competing in a series of stroke play / match-play rounds.
Division 2 offers not only a chance to earn recognition but also the opportunity for promotion to Division 1. Teams finishing at the top of the Division 2 championship may be promoted for future competitions, offering a pathway for growth and international exposure for young golfers from less-established golfing nations.
Since its inception, the championship has been key to growing the sport across Europe, with many players who competed in Division 2 later going on to successful amateur and professional careers. It stands as an important stepping stone in European golf development and contributes to the sport’s increasing popularity among youth in various parts of the continent.
