Entries to the EGA's 2025 Championships are now open at www.ega-golf.ch
The EGA's 2025 season will be a record-breaking one, with 33 different trophies up for grabs across 21 events in 16 different countries.
12 INDIVIDUAL TITLES UP FOR GRABS
The European Mid-Amateur Men's and Ladies' Championships, for golfers aged 25 and over, will open the European championship season in early June at Quinta do Peru G&CC just south of Lisbon.
One week later the European Senior Men’s and Ladies’ Championships, for golfers aged 50+, will take place in Turkey, marking the first EGA event in the country since 2011.
At the end of June, the world's best male amateur players will head to Sweden and the renowned Vasatorps Golf Klubb for the European Amateur Championship, where an invitation to The 153rd Open is up for grabs for the winner.
The European Ladies' Amateur Championship, offering a spot to the AIG Women's Open, will take place in Germany at Frankfurter Golf Club in late July, while Racing Club de France La Boulie will host the continent’s best U16 players for the European Young Masters on the same week.
Finally, the European Championship for Golfers with Disability, run in collaboration with EDGA, will be contested for the first time with new titled categories at Bokskogens Golf Klubb in Sweden at the end of August. Previously, three trophies were awarded in the male, female and seated divisions. This year, four titles will be contested in the Standing, Visual, Seated and Intellectual categories.
ANOTHER EXCITING YEAR OF TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
11 separate EGA team events will also be contested in various categories this summer.
Among the highlights will be the European Team Championship ‘week’ from 8 to 12 July which will see the Men’s, Ladies’, Boys’, Girls’ and Division 2 team events played simultaneously in Ireland, France, Czech Republic, England and Hungary respectively.
The second editions of the European Mid-Amateur Team Championships, for golfers aged 25+, will be held at Empordà Golf in Spain mid-September, one week after the European Senior Team Championships in Austria and Spain.
The season will close with the European Club Trophies for each EGA member federation's national champion clubs in October.
