May 2017’s Champions of the Green are the team at Golf Club Domaine Impérial, Switzerland. The club, which has hosted several EGA championships in the past, is highlighted by GEO owing to their innovative Environmental Charter.

In partnership with GEO, the not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting sustainability in golf, we will celebrate each month the work of a club, tournament or federation to protect nature, conserve resources and provide positive community value. 

The EGA's February 2017’s Champions of the Green are the team at The North Berwick Golf Club, Scotland, their positive impact on the local community. 

Around 60 thousand boys and girls in 300 different schools from all over Spain have been given the opportunity to play golf in their own school, during the hours dedicated to physical education.

March 2017’s Champions of the Green are Hill Side Golf and Country Club, Finland. The club has shown the benefits that accurate data monitoring can bring to a successful sustainability programme. 

April 2017’s 'Champions of the Green' are the team at Fife Golf Trust (FGT), Scotland.

The USGA and The R&A are working with golf’s handicapping authorities to develop a single World Handicap System for the sport.
