France and Spain will go down as the first mid-amateur team champions in the history of European golf.

Only four squads remain in position to be the first ever European mid-amateur team champions. 

The semi-finals are set in both Men’s and Ladies’ European Mid-Amateur Team Championships. 

The first edition of the European Mid-amateur team championships started in brutal playing conditions in the French Basque Country. 

The first ever European Mid-Amateur Men’s and Ladies’ Team Championships, for golfers aged 25+, are set to begin on Wednesday morning at Golf de Chiberta, France.
