Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche has won the European Men's Club Trophy after the last of three rounds was cancelled due to heavy rain and an unplayable course.
The French club opened a two-stroke advantage during a rainy Friday at Cabot Bordeaux, and with the last 18-holes abandoned, claimed the gold medals based on the 36-hole results.
With a final score of 5-under-par, they defeated defending champions, Smørum Golf Club (DEN) who finished runners-up on -3.
The victory is the club's second in the European Men's Club Trophy, adding to their 2008 win in Turkey.
Royal Hague Golf Club (NED) would ultimately claim the final podium spot two shots further back on 1-under-par, and go home with the bronze medals.
German team, St. Leon-Rot and Estonian club, Niitvälja rounded out the top-five on level-par.
Niitvälja's Kevin Christopher Jegers, who also plays for the Estonian national team, earned low individual honours with rounds of 67 and 69 for a total of -6.
