Rasmus Højgaard has become the third youngest winner in European Tour history at the age of 18 years and 271 days.
The Danish player won the Mauritius Open, making an eagle on the third playoff hole to secure his first European Tour title in just his fifth event.
Rasmus, whose twin brother, Nicolai, won the 2018 European Amateur Championship, recently represented the Continent of Europe in the Jacques Léglise Trophy (2017), and Europe in the Bonallack Trophy (2018) and Junior Ryder Cup (2018).
