Tao Pemerika and Kristella Sikk are the 2026 European Young Masters champions. A historic final day at El Saler saw Pemerika win in style with the lowest round of the tournament, while Sikk became the first player from Estonia to win a gold medal at a European championship.
BOYS
Tao Pemerika produced the round of the week to be crowned the 2026 European Young Masters Boys' Champion in Valencia, closing with a seven-under-par 65 to win by six shots on 11 under par.
The Frenchman began the final day within range of the lead and pulled clear as the round unfolded, a fast start on the front nine setting the tone for a bogey-free surge that none of his rivals could answer. By the closing stretch the destination of the title was no longer in doubt.
Behind him, Spain's Jorge de la Riva Vázquez took the silver medal on five under par, holding off Germany's Bjarne Murr, who claimed bronze for the second consecutive year on four under. Fabian Buhl of Germany and Martín Cervera García of Spain shared fourth on three under, with Ischa Wichman and Jayson Piermont a further shot back in a tie for sixth.
GIRLS
Kristella Sikk's victory was built on a front-running performance across the three rounds. The Estonian opened with a three-under-par 69, added a 71 in the second round and closed with a 73 to finish on three under, the only player in the girls' field to break par for the championship.
Her rounds carried a distinctive shape. Sikk was among the most aggressive scorers in the field, mixing a high number of birdies with the occasional dropped shot rather than grinding out level-par golf. Her second round was the clearest example, a card that paired nine birdies with two bogeys, a double and a quadruple, yet still came in under par at 71.
Across 54 holes she recorded an impressive 21 birdies, one of the standout scoring tallies of the championship, and it was that willingness to attack that kept her clear of the field from start to finish.
Sikk becomes the first Estonian player to win a gold medal at an EGA championship, a landmark result for the country and one that caps a week in which she led wire to wire.
The Czech Republic's Anna Gejdošová took silver on one over par, with Spain's Rut Díaz García claiming bronze on two over. France's Elea Bastoni finished fourth on three over, ahead of a three-way tie for fifth on four over between Italy's Alice Alexandra Negroni, Switzerland's Clarissa Rattaggi and Belgium's Chloe Lam.
NATIONS' CUP
France sealed the mixed team title to complete the week, finishing on 10 under par counting the three best scores out of four across the three rounds. Pemerika's closing heroics helped the French edge clear of Spain, who took silver three shots back on seven under. Germany completed the podium on one under par, with Italy fourth on six over.
