Sara Kjellker leads the European Ladies' Amateur Championship at Royal Park I Roveri.
The Swedish player carded a second consecutive round of 68 (-4) to post a 36-hole total of eight-under-par.
"It felt way easier yesterday than today." Explained Kjellker after her round. "I got a little tired on the back-nine, I started missing greens but my wedge and my putter were hot."
"It's a long tournament, four days, so anything can happen. There's a bunch of good players here so I know that I have to shoot low in order to still be in contention so that was my only mindset for today."
Four other Swedish players are in the top-six. Meja Örtengren and Beatrice Wallin are tied for second-place on -5, while Ingrid Lindblad and Ester Fägersten sit on -4.
Benedetta Moresco is the only non-Swedish player within three shots of the lead. The Italian player carded a six-under-par front-nine on her way to a 66 (-6) in Round 2, climbing 46 positions on the leaderboard and into a tie for fourth.
Six players are currently on -3, five shots behind Kjellker, including the top-ranked player in the field, Linn Grant (SWE).
Players will look to position themselves within the top-60 on Day 3 at Royal Park I Roveri in order to pass the 54-hole cut and qualify for the final round.
