The EGA is delighted to confirm that the 2024 European Mid-Amateur Championships will be held at Jurmala Golf Club, Latvia.
The par-72 Nicklaus Design course will welcome both the European Mid-Amateur Men's and European Mid-Amateur Ladies' Championships from 6 to 8 June next year.
Jurmala is one of the youngest Golf Clubs in Europe, having opened its doors in late 2018, although will host its second EGA Championship next summer. The 2021 European Team Shield Championships were held at the Latvian club, which will set the stage for Europe's top 25-and-over amateur golfers next year.
Located just 20 kilometres from the centre of Latvian capital, Riga, and mere minutes from Riga International Airport, Jurmala Golf Course is characterised by numerous water hazards and strategically-placed bunkers, typical to the Nicklaus style.
The event will carry special significance next year, as players look to earn spots on their national teams for the inaugural European Mid-Amateur Team Championships in September 2024.
Entries to the 2024 European Mid-Amateur Men's and Mid-Amateur Ladies' Championships will open in March 2024.
