History

The European Senior Ladies’ Team Championship is an annual team golf event for women aged 50+ from EGA member countries. The event was first held in 2006, prior to which a Nations' Cup was awarded at the European Senior individual Championships.

Held over five days, the event involves two days of stroke play followed by three days of match play, with teams of six players.

Due to the growing number of teams competing, a Division 2 event was introduced in 2026. The three lowest-placed teams are relegated to Division 2 for the following year.
