INGRID LINDBLAD, finishes the season as the number-one ranked female player in Europe. The Swedish player spent virtually the entire year in the top-three, closely alongside Linn Grant (SWE) and Pauline Roussin-Bouchard (FRA) who have both now turned pro. The biggest win of Lindblad’s season came at the European Ladies’ Amateur Championship in Italy, where she claimed a three-stroke victory ahead of a strong international field. Lindblad also won twice on the U.S. College circuit this year, and helped Sweden to a runner-up finish in the European Ladies’ Team Championship.

BEATRICE WALLIN finishes in second position in the 2021 ranking. Wallin will take home her second EGA silver medal of the year, having also been part of the Swedish team at the European Ladies’ Team Championship alongside Lindblad. The Florida state player won twice on U.S. soil this year, and narrowly missed out on a medal at the European Ladies’ Amateur Championship with a fourth-place finish.

EMMA SPITZ earns the bronze medal for finishing the season in third position. The Austrian player claimed victory at the NCAA Simpsonville Regional and six further top-five finishes in U.S. college tournaments this year for the UCLA women’s golf team. Spitz’s best result in Europe was claiming victory at the Austrian Stroke Play Championship.
