As is tradition ahead of the EGA's Annual General Meeting, due to take place on Saturday 16 November, delegates from across Europe are invited to compete for the Luxembourg Salver.
40 players, representing 23 different countries, teed it up at Golf de Chantilly in the 2019 edition of the net medley stableford competition.
Jorge Sagardoy Fidalgo of Spain claimed the main prize. The General Manager of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation scored 35 points, in a round which included two birdies, and will have his name engraved on the Luxembourg Salver. Jan Ede Kuipers of The Netherlands also finished with 35 points, but having a lower total stableford score on the last nine holes, had to settle for second place.
Juha Korhonen, General Secretary of the Finnish Golf Union, finished third with a total of 34 points.
In the ladies category, Barbara Albisetti of Switzerland won first place with a score of 31 points. The EGA's Honorary Treasurer, Caroline Huyskes of The Netherlands, finished in second position with 27, while Hanna-Mari Hartikainen took third with the same score.
