Alicia Moulin Joins EGA Team in Sustainability Role

The EGA is delighted to welcome Alicia Moulin to the team in a part-time sustainability position.

 

The Swiss Golf Sustainability Manager will continue in her current role while working part-time with the EGA in parallel from 1 May forwards. 

 

Born and raised in Switzerland, Alicia studied agronomy at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, where she specialised in international agriculture, organic farming and resource conservation.

 

Alicia has worked with Swiss Golf since 2021 where her tasks include helping move the Swiss Golf sector towards targets such as zero pesticide use and net zero CO2 emissions by 2030.

 

Alongside the chairman of the EGA Working Group on Environmental Sustainability (WGES), Gunnar Håkansson, Alicia’s role will with the EGA will involve helping to evolve the association's multi-year strategy in sustainable golf and corresponding action plans in key areas.

 

This will include administering meetings of the EGA WGES and other sub-committees, managing the EGA's mitigation efforts of the EU Sustainable Use Regulation relating to the use of Plant Protection Products, and managing stakeholders and partnerships within the European Golf Sector.

 

"In my new role as Sustainability Manager at the EGA, alongside my responsibilities at Swiss Golf, I'm dedicated to igniting a passion for sustainable golf in the hearts of the 4.6 million registered golfers across Europe" said Alicia.
