     2013 Season

As of January 1, 2005, a European Amateur Ranking has been launched.

Following the 2007 introduction of the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) by the R&A, the European Ranking will be an extraction of the European players directly from the WAGR. Updates will take place weekly.

To be considered, a player must be a citizen of a European country whose national golf authority is an EGA member. All other conditions are consistent with those of the WAGR (see "WAGR General Information" link below).

A Counting Event can be a match play, stroke play or a combination event, amateur or professional. Please see WAGR Counting Events for the complete list.

Each year, EGA medal prizes will be awarded to the top three ranked players at the set date of the first round played in the European Tour qualifing

school's first stage.
